Welcome!

I am Nikhil Joshi, aged 16 years living in Bangalore, India. I am a guitarist (both electric and acoustic) in Karnatic classical style (South Indian classical music). I play on an unmodified Western guitar.

I have been giving public stage performances since the age of 11 and I have given performances in the most prestigious institutions all over India and abroad.

I have composed and performed many fusion programmes (combination of Karnatic classical and Western music). My audio cassettes and CDs have been released.

Recently I visited Germany and Holland in May-June 1998 and gave about 20 performances all over Germany including Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden, Munich, Dusseldorf, Ulm, Heidelberg, Lubeck and other places.
